Custom Orders
Guns are awesome. Custom guns are even better. But nothing is better than a custom gun that you built from start to finish to your exact specifications. Your idea. Your needs. Your gun.
To build a custom firearm you must first select a model and caliber. From there you have two options:
The first option, after a model and caliber has been chosen, is to place a deposit on the firearm. Our office will then place the initial order, and the firearm will be added to the build schedule. We will then have a discussion on the options and build your dream firearm. This option is the faster of the two.
The second is to discuss all of the options and finalize the build first. The deposit will then be made and your order will be placed in the schedule.
Once the order has been placed, there will be a block of time to make changes. This time frame will vary depending on the backlog. One of our advisors will contact you when that time frame has ended and this will be the last opportunity to make any changes.
In Stock Orders
In stock firearms can be purchased at our shop or by simply calling. It is required, by law, that all firearm transactions be done by a FFL holder. Therefore, all orders not completed onsite are to be shipped to the FFL holder of your choice. If you do not know of one near you, we will be happy to help you find one.
Maryland residents purchasing regulated firearms, must create an account on the Maryland State Police Licensing Portal. The link below will take you there. You will fill out form 77R. Once completed you will receive a PIN number. This will allow us to begin your application.
When the application has been completed, the mandatory seven day waiting period will begin. The Maryland State Police will send you an email at the end of the seven days with your application results. If you have been “Not Disapproved” you are now able to come and pick up your firearm.
Try it First
Not sure what you want? Want to try it before you buy it? In addition to stock firearms, we also carry multiple range guns. This collection grows and changes over time. Please give us a call for the most up to date range gun inventory.
I travel the entire East Coast. If you are interested in shooting any of the range guns, and cannot make it over to the Eastern Shore, please contact Frank Smith to schedule a time at a range near you.
Ammunition for the range guns will be for sale onsite. If you decide to purchase a firearm, the cost of the ammunition will be deducted from the total quoted price.
If you are interested in test firing the range guns, please contact the office and we will be glad to setup an appointment.

Maryland Handgun Roster
All handguns purchased by a Maryland resident must be on the Maryland handgun roster. The roster can be found on the login page of the Maryland Licensing Portal at the bottom left of the window under “Handgun Roster”. The link below will take you there. If you have any questions as to whether or not the gun you want is listed, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will look it up for you.
If the handgun you are looking for is not on the list, F/S Firearms can work with the Maryland State Police to begin the process of getting it added. However, this is not a fast process and will take some time to complete.
